Giggling Squid, which opened its first restaurant in 2009 in Hove, has established a strong reputation for its authentic, rustic and fresh Thai cooking with the emphasis on street food and coastal specialities. The food, described by The Times as “exciting”, is prepared by master Thai chefs using fresh ingredients, sourced locally where available.

Years ago when I was doing a Master’s degree, I took a train to visit Guildford. It ran through some of the most beautiful places and villages. I thought to myself that if I was to choose to live somewhere in England, I would choose to live around here. Strangely this wish happens to have come true! Having our Giggling Squid restaurant in the middle of Guildford make it feel even more homely. We now know where to go for good Thai food!

Set in a peaceful lane off the High Street, our restaurant is right in the hub of the Guildford shopping and dining area, facing Guildford Castle’s grounds and just a five minute stroll from the station.
