Forget ordinary vases! Get creative with clay and design something completely your own.
In this fun, hands-on pottery workshop, you’ll explore the possibilities of shape, form and design as you create your very own ceramic vase.
Using a selection of shapes and templates as your starting point, you’ll be free to mix, match and combine different forms to bring your ideas to life. Go tall and elegant, short and sculptural, curvy and playful, or create something wonderfully unusual!
We’ll guide you through the process of rolling, cutting, shaping and joining slabs of clay to build your unique design. There’s plenty of room to experiment, so whether you have a vision in mind or prefer to see where the clay takes you, the possibilities are endless.
Once your vase is complete, we’ll take care of the drying, firing and glazing. You’ll get to choose your favourite glaze colour, and we’ll finish your piece ready for you to collect and enjoy.
No pottery experience is needed! This workshop is all about playing with shapes, exploring your creativity and making something that’s truly yours.
