Autism Friendly Guildford and Waverly Launch Event at G Live in Guildford, Monday 13th May from 2-6pm

This is a free drop-in event - no need to register

Everyone is welcome: autistic adults and children, family carers, local businesses, community organisations and anyone keen to find out more about how to make your community ‘autism friendly’ - and have some fun !

What’s happening at the event?

Introduction to Autism Presentations The presentation will be delivered twice by Autism by Experience CIC in the Glass Room for up to 40 people. The timings for the presentations are: • 3pm to 4pm • 5pm to 6pm There may be spaces left to book when you are at the event, but you can book in advance by emailing: [email protected]

Gamers Lounge -Play a wide range of retro arcade games

Art and Grind - www.artandgrind.co.uk -Take part in art activities run by Art and Grind

Sequoia Yoga- www.sequoiayoga.co.uk Sequoia Yoga are running gentle autism friendly yoga classes in the Glass Room. We have mats! Just wear some stretchy clothes! Unplug and Play - www.unplugandplay.cafe -Play board games hosted by Unplug and Play?

Rhymetime - run by Guildford Library staff Rhymetime will take place in the Dance (Green) Room from 5.15pm to 5.45pm for up to 10 adults with a child. Have fun singing in a sensory friendly room. There is no need to book a session in advance.

There will be lots of community organisations with information stands. There will be people available to offer advice.

Quiet Room The Blue Room will be the Quiet Room. The lights will be dimmed and you can go there for a break.

G Live Cafe The cafe will be open during the event, serving a selection of hot and cold drinks and snacks.
