Isambard Brunel was a mechanical and civil engineer considered ‘one of the greatest figures of the industrial revolution’.
Voted second (to Winston Churchill) in a list of the 100 Greatest Britons in 2002.
During a comparatively short career, Brunel designed and built tunnels, bridges, railways, and ocean liners, many transforming the British landscape.
We are pleased to welcome Chris Green back to give a talk on another fascinating subject.
