Nicolas Meier World Group Sextet

This closing event of the Guildford Jazz & Soul Festival from Nicolas Meier’s Sextet features the phenomenal vocalist Randolph Matthews, the extraordinary violinist Richard Jones, virtuosic percussionist Demi Garcia Sabat, inventive pianist, Alex Hutton and electric bassist Paul Michael.

Meier’s brilliant compositions and unique style of playing, incorporating jazz, classical and Turkish influences, came to the attention of the great Jeff Beck, who asked Nic to join his band for 3 world tours of major venues. Not to be missed!
