This Christmas, Experience Guildford is inviting families to enjoy a fun festive photo experience and create their very own personalised Christmas postcard!
Join us on Festive Family Fun Day and look out for the Experience Guildford pop-up tent on Guildford High Street. Gather your loved ones, strike a festive pose and let us capture a special Christmas memory for you to treasure or share with family and friends.
You'll receive a FREE digital photograph and one printed Christmas postcard per family!

**This is a SHARED PHOTO GALLERY. All participants will be able to view each other's photographs. By taking part, you acknowledge that your photograph will be visible to other gallery participants.
Only ONE photograph can be downloaded per family/email address. Please make sure you select your favourite image before downloading.**
How Does It Work?
- Download the Experience Guildford App – Download our free app before taking part.
- Find Our Pop-Up Tent – Visit us on Guildford High Street during Festive Family Fun Day and join the queue.
- Say Cheese! – Gather your family and have your festive photograph taken.
- Collect Your Collection Card – After your photo session, you'll receive a collection card containing QR code to images and PIN number to access your digital photograph. Keep this card safe!
- Get Your Christmas Postcard! – Both digital and printed versions will be available from Tuesday 24 November 2026.
How to Get Your Photograph
Digital Version – FREE
- From 24 November, visit the dedicated photo website using the QR code and PIN number provided on your collection card. You'll be able to access and download your family's festive photograph free of charge.
Printed Christmas Postcard – FREE Collect your complimentary printed postcard from Guildford Tourist Information Centre from Tuesday 24 November 2026. Opening hours:
- Tuesday–Saturday: 10:00am–4:30pm
- Sunday & Monday: Closed Please bring your collection card and have the Experience Guildford app ready. You'll be required to redeem your postcard voucher in the app before receiving your printed postcard.
Terms & Conditions
- Free participation: The Christmas postcard experience is completely free. No purchase is necessary.
- App requirement: Participants must download the Experience Guildford app before taking part. An adult must complete any required app registration on behalf of their family.
- One printed postcard per family: Each participating family is entitled to one complimentary printed postcard and access to their digital photograph.
- Collection card: A collection card containing digital access details will be issued following the photo session. Participants are responsible for keeping this card safe.
- Digital access: Digital photographs will be available from 24 November 2026 through a dedicated website. Participants must enter the email and PIN number supplied on their collection card to access photographs.
- Printed postcard collection: Printed postcards will be available from 24 November 2026 at Guildford Tourist Information Centre during its advertised opening hours. Opening times: Monday- Saturday 10:00-16:30, Sunday/Monday CLOSED
- Voucher redemption: Participants must redeem the relevant voucher in the Experience Guildford app when collecting their printed postcard. The collection card must also be presented.
- Photography consent: Adults participating in the photo experience must agree to their image being captured and processed for the purpose of creating the postcard. A parent or legal guardian must provide appropriate consent for participating children. Any other identifiable participants must also agree.
- Photo privacy: Photographs will be accessible through a password-protected website rather than a public photo gallery. Participants should not share their login details with anyone they do not wish to access their photograph.
- Children: Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult throughout the experience.
- Availability: The activity is subject to capacity and may close early if demand exceeds availability.
- Changes or cancellation: Experience Guildford reserves the right to amend, postpone or cancel the activity where reasonably necessary due to weather, safety or circumstances beyond its control.
- Data protection: Photographs and participant information will be handled in accordance with Experience Guildford's applicable privacy notice and data protection obligations. Participants may contact Experience Guildford regarding their personal data and applicable rights.
