CLEANER AIR DAY - Be part of a Greener Guildford

Guildford’s Cleaner Air Day encourages motorists to choose alternative travel such as walking, cycling or public transport, instead of using their car for the day. At the same time, we can all reduce air pollution and give more room to breathe.
Working with Guildford Borough Council are partners such as Surrey County Council, University of Surrey, Zero Carbon Guildford, and health providers, this free event will showcase what is happening locally to make a “Greener Guildford”. We will also be promoting the use of alternative transport such as the new Guildford’s Beryl e-bikes scheme, Surrey Bike Project, free Dr Bike service, and electric vehicles.
Both Upper and Lower High Street, Guildford, will be only open to pedestrians, so come along and experience traffic-free roads. Plus, there's lots of fun with fabulous food, market stalls, music, an archery game, and circus skills!
