Sunflower café provides friendly and interactive sessions for those living with dementia, their carers and those feeling lonely.
Guildford United Reformed Church host Sunflower Cafe every Wednesday morning supporting those living with dementia and their carers. The friendly group takes place from 10.30am-12.00pm and offers a warm welcome, hot drinks and biscuits and a varied program of activities. Guests can enjoy singing, craft, games, quizzes, reminiscence, seated movement and more. The sessions are supported by Right at Home homecare provider and Open Access Arts lead bespoke creative workshops as part of the program. It provides a great opportunity for carers to meet others in a similar situation, make friends and have some fun! The group is free to attend, donations are welcome.
