Almost every aspect of life was affected by the war; family life, work, community life and entertainment amongst others. Extraordinary defence measures were taken, and in some cases, we can see still see the evidence of these today. Join this walk to recall the impact of war on townsfolk at that time.

Duration 2 hours. This will be longer than our usual walks. We will start at Tunsgate Arch in High Street and the route will take us across Stoke Park as far as Guildford Spectrum before returning a different way back to High Street.

**Note: **This walk is suitable for children 10 years and over. Please wear appropriate clothing to be warm and comfortable in as most of the tour will be out of doors in the town streets with limited places for shelter

Cancellation: If you will not be able to come on a walk, please cancel your booking. This can be done from the email confirming your booking (click on ‘Modify reservation’) or by clicking on the ticket on your Eventbrite page (select ‘Cancel Order’)
