Lenore Raphael is an internationally renowned jazz pianist, Steinway artist, radio host and jazz teacher who has been critically acclaimed as one of the best pianists in today’s jazz mainstream. Lenore is rated by jazz critics, jazz hosts and jazz lovers as one of the most SWINGING mainstream pianists around today. Influenced by Oscar Peterson, Bud Powell and Bill Evans, she has taken these influences and created her own unique, recognizable sound. For this special performance Lenore will be joined by Glen Manby on alto sax, Marianne Windham on bass and Matt Home on drums in a tribute to two great jazz masters: pianist Oscar Peterson and alto saxophonist Sonny Stitt, famously recorded on the 1959 album “Sonny Stitt Sits in with the Oscar Peterson Trio”
