To celebrate our 18th Anniversary, we're planning one of our most ambitious projects to date. This summer we're swapping Verona for Guildford with a multi-venue town-centre open-air production of ROMEO & JULIET.
Featuring iconic Guildford landmarks including the High Street, the Guildhall, Tunsgate, Holy Trinity Church, the Castle Gardens, and more, Shakespeare’s great love-story will be brought to life, not only by our professional cast but also by a community chorus of young people and local performers.

COMMUNITY CASTING CALL! As well as telling Shakespeare’s captivating romantic tragedy, our open-air season this summer is also about celebrating the community that surrounds us here in Guildford.
We want our Guildford residents to be centre-stage, so together with a youth ensemble, we’re casting a range of performers aged 18+ to help us bring to life a pivotal scene in Romeo & Juliet: the Capulet ball where Juliet and Romeo meet for the first time. This is a high society party where the movers and the shakers of Verona strut their stuff and where the Capulets are showing off the best they can.
Performing will involve some dancing/movement, possibly a little dialogue, and buckets of energy to bring this fun and beautiful scene to life.
