Ready to take your acting skills in front of the camera? This exciting three-day screen acting workshop is designed for young people with little or no experience of film and TV acting, who want to learn how to adapt their stage performance for the screen.

Learn how to focus on the inner life of a character and use your eyes, stillness and small gestures to tell a story. Through a mix of group work, drama games and focused performance time, you’ll build confidence on camera and discover what makes a screen performance feel natural and compelling.

Day One: Camera Confidence & Self-Tapes Spend time in front of the camera exploring how to internalise emotion and let the audience see your story without over-acting. Learn how to create a self-tape, an essential skill for auditions.

Day Two: Scene Work & Character Choices Work on short scenes while learning how to score scripts, identify objectives and uncover subtext. Develop skills in listening, reacting and working truthfully with a scene partner.

Day Three: Filming & Playback Bring everything together as your scenes are filmed and played back. By watching and analysing your work, you’ll gain valuable insight into your own acting style and pick up tips on how to make a big impact on screen.

All abilities are welcome; no previous screen experience required.
