Four of the UK’s most exciting comedians come together at the Yvonne Arnaud on Saturday 15 January for an evening of big laughs, with names you’ll recognise from Taskmaster, The Late Late Show with James Corden, Live at the Apollo and much more. Join Lou Sanders, Steve Bugeja, Josh Weller and Bella Hull for the perfect night out to beat those post-Christmas blues.
Lou Sanders is one of Britain’s most original comedians. She is the champion of series eight of Taskmaster and co-hosts Mel Giedroyc’s Unforgivable. Other recent television appearances include The Late Late Show with James Corden, Live at the Apollo, QI, Travel Man: 48 Hours in…, Would I Lie to You? and 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown.
Steve Bugeja is one of the circuit’s most interesting comedians, writers and performers. Steve co-created and co-wrote the new ITV2 sitcom Buffering with Iain Stirling. He previously hosted the BBC Radio 4 series Economics with Subtitles and has made numerous appearances on TV shows including The Russell Howard Hour, Love Island: Aftersun, Russell Howard’s Stand Up Central and Zoe Ball on Saturday.
Josh Weller is a comedian, comic book author, musician, and podcast host. Weller’s high energy brand of cleverly self-deprecating stand-up landed him on pro bills after just one year on the circuit. In addition to his live comedy work, Josh has developed a loyal fanbase for his online content, which includes sketches, live pub quizzes, professional trolling, animated stand-up comedy shorts, character work, and more. Josh recently appeared in an episode of BBC’s Life Lessons with Alfie Brown and his darkly comic graphic novel, Die Already, was published by CollegeHumor.
Bella Hull is a London-based stand-up comedian and writer and one of the UK’s most exciting young comedians. Bella regularly plays to sell-out crowds across the UK and recently made her television debut on the BBC’s Stand Up for Live Comedy. She recently performed at the Utrecht International Comedy Festival and her writing has been featured on BBC Radio 4’s Newsjack, Flux Magazine and she is also the advice columnist for Quadra magazine.
