THE BOATHOUSE GUILDFORD
The Boathouse Cafe is located by the River Wey in the Centre of Guildford. This building that opened in 2023 is a fresh and exciting multi use business with co-working and hot desking in the same building.
We are looking for energetic and experienced individuals with a can-do attitude to assist in making this business the best in the area.
Ideally the applicant should have background in cafe/restaurants/hotels or pubs/bars. Will consider applicants new to the industry who can demonstrate the right attitude.
As this is a customer facing role we expect a friendly and sunny disposition as a minimum, with a passion for providing a memorable experience for our guests.
Hourly Rate will depend on age and experience.
Job Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome customers with a friendly attitude.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Serve food and beverages to customers.
- Preparation of hot and cold beverages
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining and bar area
- Process payments and handle cash transactions.
- Following food safety and hygiene safety regulation
- Setting up portable events bars
- Washing dishes and cleaning kitchen equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
- Monitor inventory levels and report any shortages to the manager.
- Assist with stock count, restocking and organizing supplies.
- Daily, weekly and monthly Alert 65 checks

Pay: £9.50-£12.50 per hour
