We are seeking a friendly and professional Host/hostess to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued from the moment they arrive. Your ability to communicate effectively and provide exceptional guest services will play a crucial part in creating a memorable dining experience.
Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
Manage reservations and ensure efficient seating arrangements.
Maintain an organised waiting list during busy periods, keeping guests informed of wait times.
Answer phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, assisting with inquiries and reservations.
Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction.
Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the front-of-house area.
Provide information about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies to guests.
Help resolve any guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally. Skills
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on providing excellent customer service.
Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is advantageous. or restaurant operations is beneficial.
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while remaining calm under pressure.
A friendly and approachable demeanour that enhances the guest experience.
Proficiency in handling phone calls with professionalism and courtesy.
