Jewellery Sales Assistant (Full-Time or Job Share)

Cry for the Moon, Guildford’s premier independent jewellers, is looking for an experienced Sales Assistant to join our close-knit team. Known for our exceptional collection of fine, antique, and contemporary pieces, we pride ourselves on our expertise and the long-standing relationships we build with our clients.
The Role
We are looking for a polished, knowledgeable professional who understands that buying jewellery is often a milestone moment. Whether it's an engagement, an anniversary, or a specialist repair, you will be the face of our boutique, guiding customers with warmth and technical expertise.
We are open to applications for:
One Full-Time individual. Two Part-Time individuals looking for a Job Share arrangement.
Requirements
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience specifically within the jewellery trade is essential.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with precious stones, metals, and luxury jewellery
- Service: A natural ability to provide "concierge-level" service—patient, attentive, and never pushy.
Location: Based in or within easy commuting distance of Guildford.
