Job requirements We are looking for people to support learners in an outreach capacity on our fantastic community based learning programme, Building Futures, around the local Guildford and Woking areas.

Working as a halow Learning Support Worker you will provide highly person-centred 1:1 support to young adults, helping to promote life skills, independence, social skills, leisure opportunities, educational provision and community access. To be considered for this role you will need excellent communication, organisation and problem solving skills. Due to the physical nature of the programme and community working, a good level of fitness and stamina is required. Professional or personal experience of learning disabilities, and experience within a health and social care and/or educational setting is desirable, but we also pride ourselves on a values-based approach and the main skill we are looking for is an ambition to help others.

If you are an individual who wants to make a difference to the lives of adults with learning disabilities living in Surrey then we want to hear from you!
