We are looking for a Store Manager to join our Guildford store. This is a full time, permanent position. We are as passionate about our chocolate as we are about our people and we need someone who shares our values to lead our Guildford store and ensure we have a happy motivated and knowledgeable team.
Our customers should all receive some ‘Montezuma's magic’ while instore and a customer experience that will be remembered (for the right reasons of course).
The hours are 37.5 hours per week (excluding breaks) and it's not all about weekends here - our Management team normally only work every other Saturday.

To implement company standards in all areas of customer service, recruitment, development and general operating practices Ensure merchandising and display standards provide the optimum presentation in store Lead and manage the sales team providing clear business direction, setting personal objectives with regular coaching and performance feedback Regular sales performance analysis and implement appropriate steps to maximise sales profitability and achievement of targets Responsibility for the recruitment and development of the sales staff via training and staff meetings Motivate the staff to provide the very best customer service and ensure you are always acting as our Brand Ambassador and ensuring everyone gives our “Montezuma’s Magic” Service Ensure the shop is kept clean and tidy at all times Preparation of products in a clean and hygienic manner Management of stock – ordering, delivery, storage, stock rotation, stocktake and wastage Ensure the security of all aspects of the store including staff and cash Responsible for ensuring the store is open and closed on time Communicate any issues along with pro-active solutions Ensure the Directors report is completed on time and on a monthly basis along with your weekly sales conference Encourage other sales initiatives such as Indulgence Evenings, Kids parties and ensure they are well managed Ensure Health and Safety compliance and standards are met at all times Communicate effectively with all the departments within the company Proficient IT skills, Microsoft Office especially Excel Ingredients (what you will add to the mix):
