A celebration of partnership work and public safety awareness.
Organised by Experience Guildford and Banham Security, the event brought together a wide range of local and national organisations, all committed to making Guildford a safer and more inclusive place.
Attendees included: Surrey Police, Guildford Borough Council, the Guildford Business Crime Reduction Partnership, Neighbourhood Watch, Crimestoppers Trust, Cocaine Anonymous UK Area, Fearless.org, as well as teams promoting local initiatives like Guildford Pubwatch, Guildford Street Angels, South-West Surrey Domestic Abuse Service (SWSDA), Real Change Guildford, Charlie’s Promise, Guildford Action, Surrey Fire and Rescue Service, Ask For Angela, the Safe Places National Network UK, Best Bar None, Art and Grind and many more.
Throughout the day, the High Street was filled conversations and free resources – including purse bells, campaign information, and safety materials to promote kindness and respect under initiatives like #BeKind and #ShopKind. Visitors discovered how local schemes support vulnerable people, promote responsible socialising and tackle issues such as addiction, crime and domestic abuse.

It is a great pleasure to work with Experience Guildford, the police, neighbourhood watch, Guildford Borough Council, and other organisations, giving advice to shoppers and members of the Guildford Community"
Emma White from Experience Guildford added: “The public response was brilliant – people were genuinely interested, asked lots of questions and took the time to learn about the help that’s available in town, as well as childeren enjoying the experience of sitting in a Police car, aswell as colouring in with thanks to Art & Grind.” Art & Grind."
