Founded in 1996 by friends John Sims-Hilditch and Giles Redman, Neptune is an interiors retailer recognised for its exacting standards, sophisticated aesthetic and expert craftsmanship.
Design-wise, Neptune is perhaps most known for kitchens with its heirloom-worthy dressers not far behind. Its trademark ‘look’ is British. Refined, simple, sturdy, and with an almost obsessive attention to detail. And the brand is certainly most respected for its commitment to craft and quality. Never will you find chipboard in a Neptune piece, nor will you see MDF, ever. Put simply, they make things they’re proud of, and want you to be too.
Sat on the curve of the high street lies our new-concept store, Neptune Guildford. It’s a sash-window fronted Georgian property that was, once upon a time, a bank.
Neptune Guildford has a smaller selection of our most-loved pieces of freestanding furniture which are surrounded by a large number of our home accessories. Our approach to the interior was to introduce you to our collections, and should you want to see more, we have two of our whole home concept stores just a half-hour drive away – Neptune Farnham and Neptune Weybridge.
Just recently we toasted the reopening of our Guildford store. A sash window fronted Georgian property that was once a bank.
Previously one of our smaller stores, the now much bigger space, houses an extended collection of designs as well as a new Design Library. The new Design Library is a place for you to get creative and discover our fabric flags and swatches, floor and paint samples, hardware and plenty more. A place where you can work with our home designers to plot, plan and inspire your next project.
You can stop by and get inspired by the extended collections on show. From solid timber furniture and timeless upholstery to elegant glassware and luxurious linens. Seeing our designs in person, whether you’re running a hand over our bedding or sinking into one of our armchairs, is the best way to get a true understanding of their quality.
