Hours: Flexible/ some unsociable hours, 24 hours per week, days subject to mutual
Salary: £16,480 per annum
Pension Holidays: 15 days p.a.

The project is run by the Christian based charity Guildford Town Centre Chaplaincy (GTCC),
established in 2008 to demonstrate care and offer non-judgemental support to people in need in the
town. GTCC does this through three distinct projects; Community Angels, Street Angels and
Volunteer Chaplains.

We are looking for someone who can work on their own initiative as well as part of a team. The
person appointed will take responsibility for the management and co-ordination of the Street Angels
project in Guildford, including the recruitment, training, and retention of volunteers. They will need
to be well organised and IT, social media literate. Interpersonal skills will be needed as the role
involves working with volunteers and the public.

They will be expected to share the Chaplaincy values of being non-judgmental, selflessness, integrity
and honesty, collaboration, professionalism, and excellence. Due to the nature of the work they will
need to be a practicing Christian. Some unsociable hours will be required
