This October, Experience Guildford BID showcased our important safety initiatives aimed at creating a safer and welcoming environment.

In support of Safer Business Action Week, Pete Lambert, Emma White and the Town Rangers were partnering with local businesses to highlight the #ShopKind and #BeKind campaign, which encourages good behaviour from the public in shops and hospitality settings. businesses display these posters that reinforce kindness and respect in all interactions.

The Experience Guildford team have been speaking to businesses that have been effected by shoplifting and ASB, signing up new members to the Business Crime Reduction Partnership. If you would like to find out more about the Business Crime Reduction Partnership, or to sign up your organisation please contact Pete Lambert, [email protected]

We've signed up two more businesses to the Safe Places Scheme in Guildford. This brings even more accessible and supportive locations for anyone in need of a safe space when out and about in Guildford. A big thank you to the businesses who have joined and are helping create a more inclusive and secure environment for all.
