Safe Places Guildford Attended Autism Friendly Event on Monday 13th May at G live in Guildford

The event was for autistic people and their families, interested members of the public, local businesses and people who work supporting autistic people to raise awareness of the support that is available.

Emma White, Experience Guildford Town Safety & Venue Liaison Officer and Jacob Griffiss, Experience Guildford Town Ranger were there to represent Safe Places Guildford.

Safe places Guildford have 23 organisations currently signed up to the scheme, each organisation in the Safe Places receive a variety of training- First Aid, Mental Health First Aid, Dementia Awareness, Deaf Awareness and soon to be Autism awareness training so they are prepared to offer a warm welcome.
